Yesterday our first stop on our Thanksgiving eat-fest was at my wife's best friend's house. She just got a Nikon D3100 (with 2 lenses, bag and other goodies) on sale at Costco. She let me take a few photos with it. Holy crap, compared to my Canon D60 the Nikon is light! Granted, I have the battery grip for the D60, but even with that off the D60 is still hefty.

Just a random observation. Now I'm going to go shower for the 5th time while I try to get the Nikon cooties off of me

The D3200 is Nikon's entry level camera... they are made out of lightweight plastic. Not sure how they compare to Rebels, but I'd guess they'd be similar. In terms of weight I'd bet the 60D is more comparable to something like the D90 or D7000.
