What locations are your favorite for your type of photography? This could be anywhere from your studio or somewhere outside. Why is this location your favorite spot?

Hey Eric! If we are talking strictly within the rough borders of South Eastern MI, I would have to say hands down Elizabeth Park in Trenton.

I am very fortunate to have an outdoor location that is very convent and one of my favorite places to photograph. I take a lot of photos around my home. This is one advantage of country living, we have a lot of wildlife, flowers, insects, and trees with a fair amount of open sky to allow for some interesting photos now and then. This attached photo is one of my favorites of my best friend, Levi. This is in my front yard looking south. Levi goes everywhere I do when I'm outside. Levi is almost ten years old . He is a rescue doberman. Levi is by far the best dog I've ever had the pleasure to taking care of.

Great pic and story. Our dog Griffin is just like yours.... My best friend and he goes everywhere I go. I'm going to start a pet thread for people to post their photos of their animals.

I have two favorite locations. Mine would be Colorado and Torch Lake, MI I can second Colorado, such a beautiful state! The Garden of the Gods is a landscape photographers paradise. Within our state boarders I have to admit I haven't really explored much, but if a event location counts... Willow Run Airport and Selfridge National Guard Base for their airshows.

Ok, if we are branching out of the area, I would say hands down northwest Montana. Glacier National Park and the Bob Marshall Wilderness to its southern boundary. I worked as a wild land fire fighter, wilderness ranger and a trail and construction crew supervisor in the Bob for 7 years. Un-freaking believable country! If you ever get the chance to go.... DO IT!! Colorado is very nice too. Spent some time there as well. 1st two are in GNP... Next 3 are in the Bob Marshall Wilderness The Big Prairie Ranger station. 35 miles from the nearest dirt rd and 90 from the nearest full service town. I worked out of here for a long time. View from the Jumbo Mountain Fire Lookout (8,100 ft) after a late August evening storm. View from the same lookout before the same storm.

Nice! The Rockies have the nicest most pristine rivers don't they...?... I always liked taking my inner tube a few miles up river and taking 5 or 6 hours to float and meander back just in time for supper.

Wow, really tough to say. I have taken pictures in something like 32 states. I used to live in the Seattle area and love the whole Ouget Sound region, and the Midwest is fabulous too for landscapes. For people, I usually prefer cleaner and "nicer" areas to urban decay and dirt.
