It's not a terribly good self portrait of me, but I wanted to test it out by dumping my entire rendered photo folder (all the things I render to give to my clients) to see what it would do. That is way cool! That had to take the computer some chugging time to do. Yes, computer can do some cool stuff, but I bet it got a little toasty working on all those data bits.

You'd be amazed how easily a quad core can chew through data. I was even playing Minecraft while this was rendering.

Yes, I go through cycles where it grips my free time like nothing else. A friend of mine is running a server with an add-on pack called "Tekkit", which adds a LOT more stuff (engines, oil deposits, nuclear reactors, solar panels, automatic mining, etc). |
