It's not a terribly good self portrait of me, but I wanted to test it out by dumping my entire rendered photo folder (all the things I render to give to my clients) to see what it would do. Computers are cool. Smaller version: dl.dropbox.com/u/27777005/mosiac%20Mosaic03.jpg (warning: 43 meg file)

That is way cool! That had to take the computer some chugging time to do. Yes, computer can do some cool stuff, but I bet it got a little toasty working on all those data bits.

You'd be amazed how easily a quad core can chew through data. I was even playing Minecraft while this was rendering.

Yes, I go through cycles where it grips my free time like nothing else. A friend of mine is running a server with an add-on pack called "Tekkit", which adds a LOT more stuff (engines, oil deposits, nuclear reactors, solar panels, automatic mining, etc).
