And another one. I know why Karl shoots this place so often. I don't think I've ever came back with so many keepers from one day out. In this shot I felt like I had gotten all the normal shots and set out looking for something a little different. I framed up behind this tree and bush which still showed plenty of color. I sat there and waited for a little while for the sun to do something, but it didn't happen. Still like the results though.

Amen brother! Nice pics! You should hit that place up in the middle of the night during a snow storm! You can hear the falling snow hit the ground it's so quiet and there's even good light during the late hours. My favorite time to shoot the park.

I was a little disappointed that the lights within the park were not lit. Most of the shots taken on the inside of the park were too dark because we had no interior park lights. You had mentioned getting a shot with the lights lighting up the leaves, and I saw the shot you were talking about, but no lights to illuminate.

Huh! They must have shut them off for the season. They were on all summer and at least up to a week before you just went.
Shhhh.... Dont tell anybody... I know where the light switch is for the entire waterfront ;D

One of these days when we know we are getting snow on a Friday or Saturday night, we'll hit it up early that morning and you can turn on the lights!

I really like your first one in the second post! Very nice!!! Was that the one where you were on the bridge and the drunk guy came up and talked to you?
