I don't have all my October film developed yet but from the film that I do have developed, it would be my 11pm shot of the Seul Choix Point Lighthouse under full moon light. I shot this 30 second exposure with a Mamiya 7ii 6x7 medium format rangefinder and 43mm lens on Kodak Ektar 100 film.  |

My favorite shot in the last 30 days is quite easy to choose. It's rare that I even see the Aurora Borealis, let alone catch it with a camera.

Easy. iPhone shot of the sunset taken at, coincidentally, Sunset Park in Petoskey. I am consistently amazed at the iPhone's low light capability. It's black magic or some sort of Apple wizardry, I tell ya!  Petoskey Sunset by engineerd, on Flickr |
