Out of the first roll of film, I have a few that are alright. But, I think this was easily the best. I knew I had to get her into the photo just as she ran by. She was moving fast, and I had no real time to think. "Just shoot it...now!" I remember thinking. I fired off the shutter, and prayed it turned out. I'm am very pleased with the results. I really like it. I like that your focus point and large aperture really gives us the idea that she is moving pretty quick off into the distance. It really plays on the fact that she is running away .
I have a question about your 645 lenses... If I were to get a 35mm for my 6x7 format it would be equivelant to about a 17mm in 35mm terms like my 43mm is equivelant to about 21mm. What is the 35mm equivelance in the 645 ratio format? Your 35 in this photo would be equivelant to what in 35mm terms or 6x7 format?

My 35mm lens for the Mamiya is about 21mm in terms of 35mm equivalency. Going over my mental notes, I actually made an edit to the flickr description. I actually shot this with my 80mm lens. I normally go around with the 35mm lens. But I needed a tight shot of the boardwalk and leaves, and pulled out the 80mm lens. This jogger appeared right out of nowhere as I was looking into the prism finder. It was an unplanned shot that turned to be a keeper. What camera are you looking to add a 35mm lens to? I didn't know that there were 35mm lenses for 6x7 cameras. Then again, if you are a 645 type of guy, here is something to dream of: www.adorama.com/IPX64525.html

Nahh, I was just curious. I knew it was slightly different then the 6x7 format but just didn't know how. My 80mm is equiv to a 40mm and my 43mm is like a 21mm. I just grew up on 35mm so it's pretty much my reference for focal lengths. I've only had my 7ii and RZ since July.
Holy crap that Pentax looks like a nice one. That's super wide!
